(*) The Unemployment and Hospitalisation coverages are mutually exclusive: unemployment cover is available to employees with a permanent contract. On the other hand, persons who are not actively working on the date of the claim shall be covered for Hospitalisation.

The amount of the compensation will be used by Iberdrola to create a credit in the natural gas supply contract to which the insurance is linked, so you will not pay anything for the bills of the insured contract until the compensation balance is exhausted.

You can sign up by calling us on 800 760 719 or, if you prefer, by visiting your nearest service point.

Contract duration is 1 year, automatically extendable for consecutive 1 year periods. The customer may cancel the Service at any time without penalty.

In case of a claim you must contact the MetLife, on of the main insurers worldwide, by email (siniestros-sp@metlife.es), on the phone number +34 91 725 00 77, from 09:00 am to 07:00 pm except for Fridays in the summer and before a bank holiday, until 5:00 p.m. Metlife will process the claim and, where appropriate, notify Iberdrola of the compensation. You will not have to pay anything for your gas supply bills until the balance of the compensation has been used up.
