Please try againIn the case of large families with a valid ticket, the 25% discount corresponding to Vulnerable Consumers will be applied.
The discount will be 40% (corresponding to Severe Vulnerable Consumer) if, in addition, the income level of the family unit is less than €15,817. To qualify for this discount, the applicant must authorise the verification of income requirements.
Authorizations
The holder and all members of the cohabitation unit authorise:
- For the reference retailer to enter, through the application implemented for this purpose at the electronic headquarters of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, the information, including the personal data of the applicants for the subsidised rate and the members of their cohabitation unit, which have been provided to them through the application and attached documents, and to carry out the other processing of personal data provided for in the regulations governing the subsidised rate and other consequences provided for in said regulations, for the purposes of recording in its computer and management systems the information necessary for the application and maintenance of the subsidised rate and other consequences, while the conditions that have given rise to its granting are maintained.
- The reference marketer to send information to the competent bodies of the autonomous communities regarding the suspension of electricity supply due to non-payment.
- For the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the application implemented for this purpose, to have access to the corresponding databases of the State Tax Administration Agency or, in the case of the Basque Country and Navarre, of the management body of the corresponding Regional Treasury, which contain information on income.
- The reference supplier to obtain information from the regional or local administrations whose social services are attending or are going to attend to the consumer who meets the requirements to be severely vulnerable. In no case will it imply authorisation to check the requirements linked to the verification of the special circumstances that, where applicable, may apply.
Special circumstances
The Cohabitation Unit is considered to have special circumstances if any of its members fulfil any of the following conditions:
- Have a recognised disability equal to or greater than 33%.
- Accredit a situation of gender-based violence.
- Have the status of victim of terrorism.
- Be in a situation of recognised grade II or III dependency.
- A single-parent cohabitation unit with at least one child (single-parent families).
Documentation to be supplied by the customer
Below are all the documents that may be required to apply for the Bono Social.The specific list of documents required in your case is the one that appears on the form, in the section "Documentation to be provided by the client".
- Certificates attesting to the affiliation of the cohabitation unit
- Copy of the certificates attesting to the affiliation of each member of the cohabitation unit.
- Examples: Family book/s, Birth certificate/s, Marriage certificate/s issued by the Civil Registry, Judicial or administrative resolution that accredits fostering, Individual sheet of the Civil Registry or any document issued by the competent authority that accredits in a reliable manner the applicant's marital status.
Where applicable, an affidavit concerning the applicant's marital status, in accordance with this form.
- The condition of unmarried couple will be accredited by certification of registration in one of the specific registers existing in the autonomous communities or town councils of the place of residence or public document in which the constitution of said couple is stated.
- Certificate of census registration
- Valid Certificate of Local Residence Registration ("Empadronamiento") for the applicant and all the members of the cohabitation unit. The individual certificates of each member of the cohabitation unit as well as the collective ones are considered valid.
- Title of large family
- A copy of the applicant's valid large family certificate or large family card.
- National ID (DNI/NIE) of all members of the family unit
- You will need the identification documents (DNI/NIE) of the members of the family unit who have it (compulsory for those over 14 years of age).
- Certificate of Special Circumstances
Document that accredits the special circumstance that the applicant's family unit fulfils. You can see a model of the certificate here
- Any certificate that expressly reflects the specific circumstances of the applicant or any member of the family unit, or the specific member of the family unit who is in such circumstance, will not necessarily be considered valid.
- The special circumstances that require the presentation of the certificate are:
- Disability greater than or equal to 33%
- Victim of gender violence
- Victim of terrorism
- Degree of dependency, grade II or III
- Minimum Living Income
- In most of the territory, it is not necessary to provide documentation proving receipt of the Minimum Living Income.
- Only the Basque Country, Navarre and Catalonia, and as long as the telematic application that verifies compliance with the requirements to be a beneficiary of the subsidised rate is not adapted to automatically check the beneficiaries of the minimum living income:
- Documentation proving that the consumer, or a member of the cohabitation unit, is a beneficiary of the Minimum Living Income.
Certificates attesting to the affiliation of the cohabitation unit
- Family record book(s).
- Birth certificate/s.
- Marriage certificate/s issued by the Civil Registry.
- Judicial or administrative resolution that accredits the foster care.
- Individual civil registry record or any document issued by the competent authority that reliably certifies the applicant's civil status.
- The status of unmarried partner shall be accredited by means of a certificate of registration in one of the specific registers existing in the autonomous communities or town councils of the place of residence or a public document stating the constitution of said partnership.
Authorizations
The holder and all members of the cohabitation unit authorise the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the corresponding online application, to have access to the Social Security databases containing information on pensions for retirement or permanent disability.
In the event that the minimum pension criteria are not met, if the first authorisation has also been marked, the income requirement will also be checked through the application implemented for this purpose at the electronic headquarters of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
Authorizations
The holder and all the members of the cohabitation unit authorise the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the corresponding telematic application, to have access to the databases containing information on beneficiaries of the Minimum Vital Income.
A cohabitation unit is considered to be that made up of all persons residing in the same home and who are united by marriage or as a domestic partnership under the terms of article 221.2 of the revised text of the General Social Security Act, or who are related to the second degree of relationship, affinity, adoption, and other persons with whom they live by virtue of guardianship for the purpose of adoption or permanent family foster care. Under no circumstances may the same person form part of two or more cohabitation units.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: First degree: children, spouse, parents, parents-in-law, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. Second degree: grandparents, siblings, grandchildren and brothers and sisters-in-law
INFORMATION ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data, we inform you that all data provided will be processed by Curenergía Comercializador de Último Recurso, S.A.U. for the purpose of applying the subsidised rate and other measures to protect domestic electricity consumers. Similarly, IBERDROLA may process the customer's personal data to carry out auditing processes for the purpose of supervising compliance with the regulations to which it is subject; the regulations, internal operating protocols or the corporate governance model.

Curenergía Comercializador de Último Recurso, S.A.U. undertakes to process the personal data provided as confidential and guarantees that it has adopted the necessary technical and organisational measures to maintain a level of security appropriate to the risk identified for the processing of your data.
The data provided in the application will be processed based on the consents given and applicable legislation and will be kept, if applicable, for the duration of the aid requested and any renewals, and will subsequently be blocked for a period of 4 years to deal with any liabilities arising from the processing in accordance with the applicable regulations for the electricity sector. The legitimacy for conducting audits may be compliance with a legal obligation, when provided for in regulations, or the legitimate interest of Curenergía Comercializador de Último Recurso, S.A.U. to ensure compliance with internal governance and management instruments. The data may be processed, at least until the end of the financial year in which the audit is carried out and, where applicable, thereafter, to the extent required by the legal obligations of Curenergía Comercializador de Último Recurso, S.A.U.
Your data may be accessed by third-party service providers of Curenergía Comercializador de Ultimo Recurso, S.A.U. necessary for the management of the application made, as well as by the authorities and public entities determined by applicable legislation at any given time.
Among the third-party services that may access your data are those related to the use of text recognition tools to auto-complete applications made by customers and which are located outside the European Economic Area, which involves an international transfer of data. In this case, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission have been signed with the entity receiving the data, following an analysis of the regulations of the destination country, which ensure the protection of your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulations. Customers may request additional information and/or a copy of the appropriate guarantees implemented by Curenergía Comercializador de Último Recurso, S.A.U. by contacting the Data Protection Officer.
Likewise, personal data may be disclosed to third parties to whom Curenergía Comercializador de Ultimo Recurso, S.A.U. outsources the performance of audits.
We also inform you that you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability or objection by writing in person to the offices of Curenergía Comercializador de Último Recurso, S.A.U., accompanied by a copy of your National ID (DNI) document, or by post to: Oficina del Cliente, Apartado de Correos no. 61343, 28080 Madrid, or at protecciondatos.comercial@curenergia.es, indicating your identification details, contact address or email, reasons for the request and supporting documentation, for which you may provide any document or means that proves your identity. With regard to processing based on legitimate interest, you may request information regarding the assessment carried out by Curenergía Comercializador de Último Recurso, S.A.U.
